Amen sister! You have no idea how often I cringe when I see the same spelling errors over and over!

@sweetcrackers:  GAH! Thank you. I cringe every time I see Vale.  Really, girls?  You can’t tell me you don’t see VEIL online every single day you’re searching for one.

Or that if you type “wedding vale,” into Google that it doesn’t correct you.  It does.  Pay attention.

Ugh yes. I don’t understand spelling mistakes in general, but I was to throw things whenever I see stupid ones.

I’m bad at spelling myself but it drives me nuts when the wrong word is written. Heck sometimes I write it in microsoft word to check my spelling before posting, granted it doesn’t catch if the wrong word is there.

I agree.  Our words, whether spoken or written, represent ourself.  There is no excuse for a written word to be bungled in the way your example showed.  There is no hurry to get this information out, and it should have been proofread.

That looks more like a typo than a spelling mistake… I blame a lack of proof reading lol!

@sweetcrackers: It’s pretty crazy that NO ONE caught that before it was launched! Geez!

Although to be fair, I doubt he personally checked over the app before it was launched.

Haha, bad spelling is my pet peeve. I went to a venue set up for a wedding and their table names were flower names: “Lilly” and “Fressia” – looked like they’d been professionally done as well… if it were my reception I would have been sooooooo miffed!

My friend totally used that app and posted it on facebook saying “sorry, I think I’m going to pick someone who can spell”. lol  so funny, and could really hurt his campaign.  I mean, SOMEONE should have picked up that AMERICA was spelled wrong before the app came out!
