Hi ladies! Hope this Saturday evening is treating you all well 🙂
I have a little baby ring for my little baby hands – I wear a size 4.25 with short little fingers. My band is 2mm and my round solitaire is .5 ct. I am the pickiest ever about wedding bands! I don’t want the set to take up too much space on my finger, BUT I loooooove symmetry, so I’ve been thinking I want one on each side because just one band doesn’t look right to me on my finger for some reason.
I just ordered in this set to see how it looks but it will bring my total width to 7mm and I’m so nervous it will be clunky and chunky! The negative comments about the ring just say it’s smaller in person so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s dainty! Several other (positive!) commenters said their e-ring was a half carat round solitaire so I’m optimistic about that!
How many mm is your set in total – on what size finger – and pics if you have any? 🙂 Thanks in advance!

I wear a size 4.5. My ering is a 1ct solitaire and the band is 2mm wide. My wedding band is 2.5 mm wide. I plan on adding a plain bad at some point that is about 2mm wide. So the total width will be about 6.5mm wide.

I wear a 4.75 (should be a 4.5, really), and my e-ring and wedding band are both 2mm (matching). I was originally thinking of getting two wedding bands for symmetry, but I actually thought it looked too wide on my finger.

Your set is very pretty though! I hope you like it.

I’m a size 5. I have a .5ct round, which looks huge on my finger, maybe because it’s a cathedral setting. Both bands are 2mm so that totals 4mm.

I’m posting this for others’ reference. I love it! I think it would look awesome!

Thanks so much for posting the picture!!! And for the nice words 🙂 I’m so excited to see it.

That’s exactly what I’m afraid of! But it can’t hurt to look at this one, and it’s so pretty that maybe I won’t mind if it’s a little wider than I’d like 🙂 thanks girl!

Mine is a type of a cathedral as well! I’d love to see your set sometime for inspiration if I could haggle you into posting a picture!

I’m around a 5 with very small hands and short fingers too. For me, 7 mm would be too much but I like a dainty look. My ring is a bit smaller than yours and I don’t want lots of busy bands distracting from it. I guess I don’t really think enhancers actually enhance in most cases.
It’s hard to tell how it will look on you without any photos. What matters is that you like how it looks. If you’re not happy with what you’ve ordered, send it back!
Good luck choosing a band!

When it comes to Ring Sizes that is the measurement of the girth of the Finger…
In reality, it is my experience as a Jewellery Lover, picking a ring truly has a lot more to do with the length of the finger (particularly the distance from the base to the first knuckle) as well as the overall size of one’s hands… so short stubby fingers vs long slender ones, for example.
In my own case, I wear a size 7. But my hands are very very small. And the fingers are short and stubby (my ring finger is a mere 2.5 inches long)
Distance from the base to the first knuckle is aprox 3/4 inch = 0.75 inches = 19 mm (maybe less)
Lol, that hasn’t stopped me from wrapping that little space in a lot of yummy !!
I own 3 Rings… My ERing and 2 WBands (one glittery and one plain)
My ERing faces up at aprox 10 mm (4 mm on the underside)
My 2 WBands each are approx 3 mm
So total coverage topside = 16 mm = 0.63 inches
And underside = 10 mm = 0.39 inches
Because I have 3 Rings, I enjoy mixing and matching them, and wearing them in various combos. 1, 2, or 3 rings stacked.
PHOTO – Here is a pic from my Wedding Day where I have all 3 on my finger at one time.
And a second Photo where I am wearing just the 2 WBands together (6 mm)
Hope this helps,
