I also prefer sweeheart, and I think it will look elegant on that dress. Personally, I think straight necklines look “weird”

While I usually prefer a sweetheart, I think it will look weird with this dress.  A “V” in between those beads/embroidery is going to direct the eye in a weird way.

I’d go for scoop as is mine, it’s still softer than having it straight but wont interfere wih the detail on your dress.

I agree with Prewitt. I think that a scoop neckline would look fabulous with the dress without “ruining” the beautiful beading. I prefer the scoop line in general, it’s much softer than the sweetheart and less revealing.Did you decide to wear this dress, Evie?

I agree about the scoop neck. There is so much beading on the top of it, a sweetheart would get rid of it all!

@Evie19: Υes, I love it!Actually, Prewitt’s dress is a very good example of how well the scoop could work with the beading!!In case you choose this dress, I’d say definetely go with the scoop neck.

Definitely a slight scoop.

I think a sweetheart neckline could work for this dress. There are similar styles out there that have both sweetheart and scoop necklines and they look great. good luck on whatever you decide.
