Our Wii came with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort; we seriously play the Sports Resort more than any of the games we picked out and purchased ourselves haha. We love Mariokart and WiiFit which you already have..oh and Mario and Sonic Olympic Winter Games is really fun too!

Oh man, Resident Evil 4 for the Wii is amazing. I feel like such a badass when I play it, LOL.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is so much fun! We just started playing that last night. I’ve heard the Jillian Michaels program for the Wii is actually really difficult and my cousin actually hurt herself attempting that one, so I would probably steer clear of it :).

Super Mario Brothers is also incredibly fun!

@jo.lee: Super Mario Bros is AWESOME!!!

We also bought a bunch of OLD arcade-style games from the channel and OMG THEY ARE FUUUN!  and addictive, lol.

Wii Sports Resort is great!  So is Ghostbusters.

I will 2nd that the New Super Mario Bros is awesome! Except for the fact that I don’t think I’ve yelled more at my Darling Husband while playing that game! :-/ I’m just super competitive and it annoyed me to no end that he kept dying. haha.

Also, ANY of the Lego games… Lego Star Wars, Lego Harry Potter… those are SUPER fun!

ETA: Oh! And Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are so great! Technically, it’s one player, but you can have a second person wave their wii-mote around to collect star bits to help you!

Oh, the Lego Games are awesome, too.  The clip-scenes are just hilarious!

@AbbyDabbyDoodleBug: lol, I gave up after hitting the second world.  I kept dying!  And you do NOT want to know how many nights I stayed up playing it while waiting for my Fiance to get home, lol.  The last level on the first world was HORRIBLE!!!  (I’m usually not that bad with games, but wow.  I gave my future-step-son a run for his money, cause he gets REALLY angry with the games when he dies!  (BIG competitive streak there and he hates loosing, lol)

Mario Kart is essential. I highly recommend buying the steering wheel attachments, as well.  If you like platform games, Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best.

And this is going to make me sound like I’m 12, but I love the Hannah Montana World Tour game. A friend bought it as a joke, and I play it all the time. You have to dance to Hannah Montana songs, and based on how well you do you earn points to spend shopping, and then you get to pick out her clothes for each concert.  It sounds stupid, but I play it the most probably of all my games.

I love the Lego games, particularly Indiana Jones (both 1 & 2), Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter (although with HP you’ll only like it if you like HP otherwise it’s boring as sin). Oh and Batman is fun too! So basically, I just hated the Star Wars lego games, I couldn’t figure it out, it seemed pointless to me.

Super Mario Bros is lots of fun, and so is Epic Mickey but EM is just a 1 player game. Oooh and the Raving Rabbids series is REALLY fun too. Those are great if you have friends over and there’s wine/beer involved 😉

I have the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum and I hate it. It’s boring and pointless. Skip it.

In addition to the ones listed above, I recommend Zumba and Wheel of Fortune.  The Zumba is hard IMO and you will sweat.

The Wii Sports / Sports Resort games are great.  Mario Party is also a good one to have.  I’ve bought Zumba for ours too because I’ve heard good things but I haven’t tried it yet.
