I always had interrest in buying it but have yet to. Maybe I will considering I hear zumba is a great work out. I usually just hit the gym everyday but I need something more than my treadmill for at home.

I think I need to get Wii Zumba. Is it easy for someone whose never done it before?

Yea, I’d love to hear what more people think of it! I’d definitely be interested in trying it, I’ve always wanted to try Zumba

I have it! It’s super fun! I have to remember to shut my blinds when I do it though. I probably look absolutely crazy to my neighbors walking by.

I have both zumba games for the wii and I love them! The second game that just came out a few months ago is definitly better than the first.  I get bored easily with workouts, but this is the one kind of workout that has kept my interest.

@MrsSl82be: they are pretty easy workouts to learn; you just have to pick up the dance steps. It always take me a few times before I get a good handle on the routines.

@MrsNeutrino: haha same. Something that isn’t too…. workouty… I need to trick myself into thinking it’s not a work out.

I can’t get into it ๐Ÿ™ I really wanted to though!

I have the first one that came out, and I don’t know if this was a problem or not that they fixed but I found that the slightest of movement with the wiimote on my hip would make the game skip ahead to the next step. I could never get the moves down, and even if I moved my hip to the left any way I wanted, it just kept progressing. Fixing the sensitivity doesn’t help either ๐Ÿ™

@future_schu: get the second Wii Zumba game, it just came out a few months ago. It is much, much better and more user-friendly than the first one.

I love the wii Zumba games! They are a pretty good workout if you do the faster/harder songs! I still like Zumba classes in the gym better but for someone who doesn’t have a gym membership or doesn’t want to shame their booty  in front of a bunch of strangers, the wii is a good alternative!

I’ve got the first Zumba game for the kinect and it’s great! You don’t need any other equipment (I think you have to wear a belt or something for the Wii version?) and it tracks your whole body.
