I don’t know if it works, because I’ve never personally tried it myself, but I read that if you line your entire lips (not just the edges) with lip liner in a shade similar to your lipstick, apply your lipstick, and then dust your lips with loose powder through a single ply of facial tissue to set the color, it works.  I have my e-session this Sunday, so good luck and let us know how it goes!

This suggestion would be if you have time to look around a bit.  You could check your drugstore’s Loreal section, for their Infallible lip color.  It’s seriously really good stuff–not nearly as drying as most long-wearing formulas. I wore it for my wedding, and it didn’t transfer at ALL (Mrs Flamingo also wore the Infallible gloss for her wedding and wrote a post about it).  For an even softer (yet long-wearing), smooth product, check MAC.  They have a ton of colors to choose from, and it’s likely you’ll find one very similar to your favorite shade.
