My train was Cathedral length and I’m SO glad I got a veil that long too. It would look gorgeous! Here’s a visual for you…

@Anna22:  Thank you:) I can’t wait to see you decked out in all your bridal glory! That dress is really great for your figure. I have some other pics that show the train and veil together, but I don’t want to jack your thread with my wedding photos hahaha. Let me know if you would like to see some other angles and I’ll be happy to post, but I don’t want to make this another MrsCarnival recap thread 😉

@Anna22:  I see what you mean about that pic. Ask and ye shall receive!

So, you can’t see my whole train in that last pic, but you can kind of see how the train pulls the veil back along it and gives it some volume. My veil was a two-tier with a blusher and a satin ribbon on the edge, but I think a raw-edge would look really nice with  your dress because your train has a ton of detial. My train just had pleats and buttons, so I liked the ribbon for me.

@Anna22:  I have quite a considerable train and my veil is almost ten foot. I think they’re  so pretty when they both flow together rather than a shorter veil looking ‘cut off’. go for it, you’ll only do it the once x

I think a cathedral veil would be very pretty, but I would suggest a single tier so that the obvious focus would remain on the skirt of your dress. It is so gorgeous and unique that you shouldn’t cover it up too much!

Here is mine (shot from my first fitting):

I think your dress is so dramatic and glamorous that anything other than a cathedral length just wouldn’t do any justice to it.
