(Closed) Will a corsett backing look ok in this dress? Plus size bride freaking out! :)

I think it will look fine – the sash/bow will hide the bottom of the corset, anyway!

I think its a great dress!

I think if you are having a corset put in, maybe you could have them sew the sash in so it is only in front and engs at the corset (so no bow or hanging ends)

@sierra.dewolfe:I think with that dress, and if you do get a corset back in, you should remove the sash. It will cover up the corset and I think it would just not look good. NOT bad, just not good. I think a lace-back is beautiful to look at and you don’t want something covering it up 😀

I think a corsett on that dress will look fine. By the time its done it will look like it was always meant to be that way!! Dont worry!

I think a corset back on that dress will look great.  Keep the sash its what makes the dress flow.

The bow on my dress ties in the front, but my seamstress was able to cut it and sew it on either side of the corset, so it doesn’t cover any part of the corset, and I think it helps make it look like part of the dress.  It looks great, IMO!
