We’d love to go back, especially to Palm Island in the Grenadines where we spent the 2nd week of our honeymoon.  While we were there Darling Husband asked me what anniversary we should go back to celebrate – my response?  Five year?  He looked at me (in shock) and said – i was thinking more along the lines of twenty years!

Can’t blame a girl for trying!!!  Wink

I suppose that’s one of the really convenient things about a local honeymoon… we are sure to go back. 😉

We are going to Fiji for two weeks so while I’d like to think we will return I’m not sure. It’s pretty pricey for us to go again and then when we have children they can’t come, because it’s an adults only resort. But who knows, maybe we will go back for our 25th wedding anniversary.

Well if we are able to honeymoon where we could if we had just a few  extra $$, we would definitely go back with our future kids (maybe make it a summer trip every year?).  I really hope we can honeymoon, if not we’ll go camping locally 😉

We honeymooned in the Greek islands, so we would LOVE to go back, maybe several times. It would be fun to visit a few different islands each time. That way we could reminisce and have a new adventure at the same time.

I would say it’s doubtful…we’re going to South Africa, and that was one of the things we really wanted out of a honeymoon–a once in a lifetime experience. I don’t know the next time we’ll a) be spending that much on a trip, and b) be able to take 2 weeks off work! But we’ll definietly enjoy it while we’re there 🙂

@troubled: We went to Anguilla.  I haven’t gotten around to doing a recap yet but we loved it.  It’s definitely not for everyone.  The country is extremely undeveloped, many roads are not paved, etc.  But the beaches are untouched and the people are amazing.  Another poster, @sarahnyc23 went there too :o)

We havent taken our honeymoon yet but from everything I hear it seems that we will want to go back! At the same time there are SO many places we would like to see and go to so I dont know if we will end up going back. Also, we will never be able to take our kids to our honeymoon spot because its adults only!

Well, our mini-moon spot was at the Ritz Carlton in the city we live in, so we’ve talked about going back on an anniversary if we can afford it.  Our “real” honeymoon is a bit too pricey for our tastes to spend on just any ol’ vacation.  And beings by the time our 10 year anniversary comes around, we’ll probably have little ones at home…So, maybe for our 20 or 30 year anniversary we would consider going back to our honeymoon spot.

We would definately consider it.  We made friends with some of the staff & had a great time.  It was a great trip.

Oh definitely! We both adored the Greek islands. I think my husband wants to retire on Paros!

We went to Charleston, SC, and we definitely plan on going back for an anniversary!
