(Closed) Will charcoal gray look SUPER different from black?

Without seeing the colors side by side, it is impossible to say. Every manufacturer out there has their own idea of what colors will have certain names and vice versa. You can’t say with 100% certaintly that the charcoal grey in question will stand out since it may be close enough to black that it isn’t noticeable or it may not, since a different charcoal gray could easily be very light with a distinctive difference. Unless it’s very obviously a light gray, I can’t imagine why it would be that much of an issue personally.

I’m glad he’s renting a suit. Which charcoal gray may look black sometimes, it will NOT when it is actually surrounded by black. (It’s like black and navy. Sure those navy shoes looked black when you grabbed them from your closet, but when you put them on with your black pants, you knew they didn’t match.) Sounds like the problem was resolved the best way possible.
