I have been bridal dress shopping. I have been to three bridal boutiques, and have tried on approximately 14 gowns. I think that I have found my dress. It is the only one that I have wanted to try on multiple times, have wanted to not take off, and have been comparing everything else to. That said, my wedding (our wedding), isn’t until June 13, 2015. We are getting married in a garden at Thornewood Castle. Our style is vintage romance.

What do you think bees? Does the dress flatter me? Does it fit our style and location? Will I have dress regret if I purchase it soon (June or July)?

It’s beautiful, but don’t pull the trigger yet. Sounds like you are not entirely on board.

Well I think it’s a beautiful dress! If you love it then you should get it.
From my personal experience I had dress regret because I bought it too early without trying very many dresses on or looking at many. Then having the time AFTER I bought my dress to lurk around weddingbee I started questioning my choice. It’s nota big deal though, my dress was very cheap because it was a sample, only 400 for a 1000 dress and I’ll be able to sell it easily because it’s pretty flattering and not altered. I’ve given myself 2 months to try other dresses to decide if I’m getting a new one or keeping the one I have. Good luck with your choice! For some reason I have not once wavered in any of my wedding decisions, except the dress seems to have me full of indecision!

Thank you. I think that I will give it at least another 2-3 months before I make a final decision on it. Part of me thinks that I may fall in love with another dress shape if I were able to tone up some of my more “unflattering” areas of my body. As far as style though, I love the lace, empire waist and beadwork on this gown.
Y’all are right though. With any doubts about the dress, I shouldn’t purchase just yet, even if it ends up being “my dress.” I will see how I am feeling about the dress and my body-insecurities around June or so.

It’s beautiful. And I think it depends on the bride. I bought my dress 3 Years before I was even engaged! And I never had dress regret. But, I do think you should hold off a while if you’re writing this post.
