Thank you everyone! Such lovely pics too – starla your RHR is heart-stopping. And MrsCassie you’ve got it spot on – I realised I’ve been looking through this post looking for reasons to have a prasiolite, so I guess I’ve answered my own question! Really appreciate all the other green stone suggestions too – have been looking through them 🙂 So I’m set on prasiolite and will change it in time if it gets very damaged or if I decide I’d prefer something else. But yes, whatever he proposes with will always be extra special, even if it were a twist tie 😉

I don’t regret asking for a moissanite. It’s what I wanted, and what I still love.
However, I love love LOVE color, so I have a bunch of RHR’s that have lots of color. I have a padparadscha and white sapphire halo ring, an oval garnet ring, a pear shaped london blue topaz ring, and a round turquoise ring. Mmmm. LOL.
(Above is my ering, which is moissanite. I love it; and yes, it does sometimes have a greenish tint to it. I love that about it, too! I don’t see it as a flaw, but then, I love color so maybe that’s why. It is enhanced amora, but I can still see some green in low lighting).
(Above this is my padparadscha and white sapphire halo ring. I ADORE IT. I would totally wear it as my ering if I knew it would be okay with FH, lol).
(I also love my garnet and silver ring; It’s much more red IRL).
(The last pic I’m going to post above is my london blue topaz ring. It is beautiful IRL, and i used to wear it every single day lol).
P.S. I’m not even sorry for all those pics.

That ring is absolutely stunning! Gorgeous! I’m so sorry that you had to sell it, but I am very glad to hear that your daughter is doing much better and that you may have an opportunity to get a new pad!

Hi Mrs Vanilla – I was just looking back over this post and realised you asked a really thoughtful question that I never answered! So, to answer, the healing properties that I’m looking for are generally regarding inflammation and anxiety. I have very bad eczema, allergies etc and a tendency to be somewhat fretful. I’ve always loved healing stones and felt the calmness of their presence so thought it would be a lovely thing to have in an ering. Also, my darling SO has said the most important thing to him is to get me well this year, so together we’ll try anything! It just seemed appropriate 🙂
