@oceanstarship:  Helzberg is poor quality and overpriced. For 1400 you can afford a decent sized blue lab diamond.

I have a precision cut one in a bezel to protect it. This is the only way I would buy an aquamarine. You could get a higher quality one that it less likely to go cloudy through an online vendor. Helzberg will probably have lower quality aqua’s that will cloud from surface scratches. It doesn’t take very long to do that like it does to morganites.

There are blue moissanite color’s that are the same as aqua’s that are much harder for daily wear..AND you will get more sparkles from it.

I guarantee you’ll find a sapphire in a similar shade, and with better sparkle.

I recommend that you browse independent jewelers who have similar style rings, then have them source a harder stone for you. They might be able to custom design a dupe for you at a similar price. My custom wedding band cost around 1400.

@floridagirlblue:  This is what my jeweler said would happen 😕 I wanted one too. I decided against it.

@oceanstarship:  Is this similar to the color you are looking for?

This is Stag & Finch’s arctic blue sapphire, which should be in your price range (more photos & videos in the link): https://www.stagandfinch.com/product-page/lab-created-sapphire-arctic-blue-1

They are a custom lapidiary and only offer returns on stones that “do not represent the photos presented” though.

You could also get a 1 carat (or smaller) blue diamond from Lightbox Diamonds and have it reset into a ring.

I’ve also come across cyan blue moissanite on Etsy, which is looks teal.

@oceanstarship:  I’m not sure if you’d regret an aquamarine ring. It is soft but it’s beautiful and plenty of people love its pink equivalent (morganite or rose beryl). However, I do think you may regret purchasing this from a big box retailer versus a local jeweler that create a similar ring with better craftsmanship, service and prices.
