I have been charting AF for the past year, but only started charting and tempting on FF this past week. According to the app I used to chart AF, she is due tomorrow. I am soooooo nervous and anxious today. I REALLY want her not to show up and I know I will be majorly disappointed if she does.
On the other hand, I just started a new job this past week as well and my insurance kicked in immediately (yay!) but isn’t there a chance for them not to cover any possible pregnancy I have if the baby was conceived prior to my starting work? I KNOW Darling Husband and I cannot afford to pay these medical bills without the help of insurance. I NEVER thought about this until I started reading TCOYF and saw an excerpt mentioning this type of situation.
So I am pretty much on an emotional roller coaster today. :-/ I guess I just needed to vent/talk to someone who can understand what I am saying.

I’m pretty sure pregnancy is not considered a pre-existing condition. I was 6 weeks pregnant when Darling Husband added me onto his insurance and it is covered.

I think as long as you don’t have a diagnosed pregnancy, you should be okay with your new job! Most people don’t know they are pregnant until the missed period and you are employed now!

From what I understand of the affordable health care act employer plans can’t exclude pregnancy anymore even if you got on it several months in. Only private plans cans. You should be fine.

Good to know!! I wouldnt want to get a BFP and not be able to truly enjoy it because of fear of the medical bills. But I am also trying tnot to get my hopes up too high only to be disappointed…. but its soooo difficult not to. *shrugs
