(Closed) Will it look ok if my mismatched bridesmaid dresses aren’t all the same material

My 2 bridesmaids were supposed to have dresses in the same color and both in chiffon (just different styles).  One ended up not fitting into what she bought and had to get a satin dress.  It was totally fine.  Does it look different in photos?  yes, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal in the end.

I only had 2 though, so I’m not sure if it would seem more out of place with more girls but I wouldn’t worry about it.  As long as she’s comfy in it and you all like it, just rock it!

Good luck 🙂

I had mismatched Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in different materials – I don’t think it looked odd but I’m not really into matching things anyway. Sorry if the photo is huge – I do try to resize but it never seems to work out for me!

I think mismatched materials look good- in fact I told my BM’s that if all their dresses are the same material (they have almost complete control over what they’re wearing as long is it fits my color palette) that if their dresses match too much I’ll be really upset.

This is one of my fav mismatched dress pix and it has different fabrics and I still love it!

I might encourage another girl to get chiffon or similar flowy something but only because its comfortable and then she won’t stick out as the only one or anything…
even tho her bump will! hehehe

Don’t worry~ think it will look fab! Wink
