Are those Pier 1?  If so, we’re using the same ones!  And having a formal wedding.  I think they’ll be gorgeous!

OMG…I think it would look wonderful.  That lantern, in your inspiration shot, is from IKEA.  I know because I purchased two for my wedding.

I think they are elegant and fun and perfect for your location.

That is beautiful and I think it goes together nicely and still keeps it comfortably formal.  It’s like outdoor-chic!

I actually bought the lanterns in the 1st picture (Ikea) and really love them. I have 5 of them and then 6 of the smaller lanterns that Ikea also sells. I’d have bought more, but we have to fly them to Mexico.

My wedding is not rustic, but it is outside… anyway, I think that the lantern will reflect the decor around them. I’m planning on using a TON of candles for a really romantic mood. So, I think (hope) that my lanterns will look warm and romantic, not rustic or casual. I think, given your MT venue, they’ll look perfect – and NOT to causal if the rest of your decor is elegant and formal.

Yes I think they will look great. I almost did lanterns myself. We are having a formal wedding but want a rustic, earthy feeling if that makes any sense.

I used that exact same lanterns at my wedding.  It was at a barn so in a rustic outdoorsy setting like yours.. but still a very formal wedding.  I did three different height candles as well.  (I will point out I did this on half my tables and floral centerpieces on the other half).  The lanters were perfect and I got so many comments on how pretty they were.  These pics are from before the reception actually started so it was still light out.  They were even more beautiful once it got dark.

Thanks!  We were really happy with how everything turned out.  Just for reference here’s what we did for the floral centerpieces.

I think they’re lovely!  I’ve been to very formal weddings where they had similar decorations!

I think they are fantastic!  And a great price to boot!
