I knew right way that my four bridesmaids would need different style (at least neckline) dresses. Their bodies are so different (and beautiful!). I also knew their skintones were very different. I decided on a deep chocolate brown and they will be carrying autumn colored flowers. My Two sisters are very pale, one with a cool and one with a warm complexion. His sisters are pretty dark, one with a cool and one with a warm complexion. I really tried to keep everyone in mind while picking the color that still fits in our scheme. What do you think? Any suggestions?

I think its hard to tell without seeing photos of their complexions but personally I think chocolate brown can be very flattering on most skin tones.
If you’re at all concerned get them to all try the dress on and see how it looks and if they feel comfortable.

OneDayMrsL: yes I am definitely going to have them try on the dresses before purchasing! Thank you

Brown is lovely, good choice given your autumn theme!

Sounds great! Most people can wear brown and it’s nice of you to consider their skin tones!

I personally can’t wear browns, but then again, that may be because I’m already pretty brown in complexion. 🙂 That being said, I’ve seen some of the most gorgeous weddings with bridesmaids dressed in chocolate shades and I think yours are likely to look amazing. It’s kind of you to consider their bodies when planning!

KateA17: liameowchelle: thank you both so much! I would never want them to look bad or feel uncomfortable in what they are wearing.
