It might be a liiiiiiittle bit blingy since yours isn’t that much, but I think you’d all look gorgeous together in that combo.  Nobody can outshine a bride, the glow radiates from within 🙂

Woow the peach dress is gorgeous! Where did you find it? I want one!

I do not think it would outshine you in the lazaro but what’s your theme? Where’s your venue? I think overall feel of the wedding might dictate how it would look

@Megnolia:

Gorgeous! I don’t think it’s any different than a bride wearing off-white and the bridesmaid wearing canary. Maybe that’s just me. Lol. I don’t think your BMs will outshine you, because your dress does look like a wedding gown. I think if it was designed like the BMs dresses than you’d have a problem.

I think it’s beautiful, and I imagine the photos would look so incredible. Peach! I would have never thought of that.

When I read the title of this thread I thought absolutely not a chance, however, I see your hesitation. I don’t think they will necessarily outshine you but WOW that peach dress is absolutely gorgeous! As PP said, I want one too!

@Megnolia:  the ONLY one who should have bling is YOU!!!! i think its too much for them. if your worried already then you should pick another dress ; ) your the only one who should shine on your day

here is my dress and bridesmaids dresses

i love my girls but they will not out shine me.

by the way your dress is beautiful and looks stunning on you. your bridesmaid dresses are beautiful i would not want my bridesmaids in that dress. if you like/love that dress wear it to leave your reception at the end of the night if you going straight on your honeymoon. if you dont mind me asking who the bridesmaid dress is by?

@HisNightOwl2014:  Im not trying to be snarky, I’m just curious. I promise. So you wouldn’t want your bridesmaids in a beautiful dress for fear of them outshining you?

@ZoeJane:  no no no worries ; ) i did at first want my bridemaids to have super beautiful dresses ; ) but my FH and Maid/Matron of Honor kept telling me that the bride is the only one that should have the bling ; ) for example i made all rhinestone shoes as my something blue but i’m on the fence about them and figured id wear them to my cousins wedding and they both said no you don’t want to unintentional out shine the bride with those shoes. i want my girls in beautiful dresses but i would not want them in a dress that could compare to the beauty of mine. her wedding dress is beautiful, stunning and in my opinion that bridesmaid dress comes to close to the beauty of the wedding dress i can see that bridesmaid dress in white for a wedding but that’s just me. that bridesmaid dress is too beautiful next to the wedding dress.

yes, I can see that as possibly bridal wear… like I can imagine someone getting married in that peachy dress! it is absolutely beautiful. however, your dress next to theirs will definitely show as more bridal! perhaps there’s a shorter version of the peachy dress?

@patchy:  i think thats a great option is the OP loves that dress for her girls. being shorter would make it less bridal looking.

@Megnolia:  My daughter’s bridesmaids dresses have bling very similar to the dress above. They are all beautiful girls but no way can you outshine a bride on her day.

Love both dresses and they will look stunning together.

@Megnolia:  I think the colors will look great together. But it is quite blingy. They make similar style dresses, but without all the bling on them.

I think it makes a really lovely compliment to your dress, just right 🙂

The combination of dresses you have posted are perfect together!  There’s no way a bridesmaid could outshine a bride – you will have the hair, headwear, bigger bouquet and the husband at the end of the day xo
