So our color palatte is “honey wheat” and we are using lots of browns, tans, golds and mustards. I just found out that the only chairs available at our venue are metal black banquet style chairs (ew!). Please give me some inexpensive suggestions for how to make these chairs look semi-ok! I want to try to make them blend in as much as possible.
Note: chair covers and/or rentals are approx $3 to $3.75 and WAY too expensive for our size party.

Once everyone one is sitting, you won’t notice the chairs. Seriously, the only person who is going to notice is you! Stop stressing about it and focus on the details that people will notice.

Honestly, I’d just go with it. Adding bows and ribbons will probably draw more attention to them! And, as the PP alluded — the natural camouflage for chairs is the people sitting in them! Bonus: it sounds like the range of tones that human beings tend to come in will actually match your color scheme. 🙂
