    I’m not really sure – I can’t picture it as a tea length dress, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work, I would ask a seamstress what they think.

    @Bearimbolo:  The way it is fitted slightly down your hips means it will never look like the picture you’re trying to get it to look like. However, with enough petticoat underneath it you could get the skirt to be much fuller….  But again, the fit through the hips is going to be the catch.  Hard to imagine how it would look, but there is a thread on here where you can ask a couple photoshop bees to whip up a sample and see how it goes.

    I think the sash, the change in texture at the hips, and the tea length would cut you into too many pieces and look kinda short and choppy. How tall are you?
