Is this a DB dress? If so, I have a friend who wore it to her beach wedding in Mexico and it looked so good at the beach! I feel like its the kind of dress that adapts to whatever setting you wear it in, so I say definitely go for it! It’ll look gorgeous! And if its not DB then its super similar to the one my friend wore!

I have to agree with PP, it should work well on the beach. Now if it had a Cathedral train on it then … meh… but it looks relaxed and still formal.

I think you can still bring some of the vintage inspiration feel to the beach if you really want! Why not?! What are your concerns with having this dress on the beach? I think it will be BEAUTIFUL – especially because it’s not a very big dress and isn’t too poofy and it looks very light and breezy – all perfect for the beach!
If it were heavy satin, I’d say no – but I’m also having a beach wedding and have found there are many options out there for the beach – lace being one of them! best of luck!

I just decided on the same dress! We are getting married on the beach too. I was so glad that you asked this question and I was able to read the responses for reassurance!! Are you wearing the sash that came with the dress or adding some bling? Are you adding a bustle?
