@MsKaz:  I think if you use enough product and do some touch up’s throughout the day, you will be just fine ๐Ÿ™‚

There’s a special hairspray called Ice something (sorry I can’t remember) but it REALLY holds your hair. But any really good strong spray will do! ๐Ÿ™‚

Me personally, I would be worried. BUT – my hair doesn’t hold curls well. You know your hair best! I am not even considering a half-down do because of how my hair holds curl, so that right there tells me you’ll probably be fine when I wouldn’t.

@MsKaz:  I was worried about this (half up half down do also!) but mine held!

Hair done at 10am, pictures at 3 and ceremony not until 6:30!  We did do touch-ups throughout the day but nothing more than hairspray and a tuck here and there!

The thing that made the difference was that the stylist washed out my wash from the night before, she said she could tell that the shampoo and condition I use has wax in it because my hair felt too heavy and that would ruin the curls!

From a hairdressers perspective i would say this is fine. I would wash hair the day before. unless you want to wash your fringe the morning of. I would also makesure all products ur washing with are silicone free. I then get my brides to put a big blob of mousse in there hair to give it texture and light hold. then in the morning i would have the curls done tighter than you want (i pin my curls up as they cool ) then let them down and give another spritz. Make sure you do not have to much hair spray on . so when you have sone your makeup and your almost ready to go, you can get a small amount of anti frizz rub between your hands and run your finglers through the midd lenght and ends of curls to loosen them til u get desired look. now you can spray! hope this helps.x

No, it will not.  Mine didn’t.  I had to bring a curling iron to the reception hall with me and get retouched before our entrance.

Make sure they use a really GOOD hairspray and DO NOT wash your hair that morning and DO NOT condition it the night before.
