Your hairdresser can criss cross some bobby pins right where you want your veil and it should stay, just make sure whoever takes it out for you is super careful (maybe try to find a cute sparkly clip to slip in just in case it does mess wit the braid.)

I’ve had this done for a trial and I did worry it wasn’t tight enough to hold a veil. It really depends on your hair type too though.

that’s a beautiful hairstyle.  will you put the veil near the top of your head?

maybe your moh can help you remove the veil and touch up the hair.

@alishaloo:  Well, then you or her can just add a couple bobbie pins, lol. I’m wearing my hair down and we crisscrossed pins right where the veil will go and that baby was solid!!!

if you tease your hair a little bit where you want to place the veil that will help keep it in place also

I think that hair is gorgeous!  No answer for you but good luck!

If your comb on your veil has plastic teeth, break every other 2 out.  I know it sounds scary, but the teeth will go in AND come out easier.  I’m a hairstylist, and I just got married on August 25 (yay!!).  I had my hair in a side-swept, loose curly, kind of Victorian looking style, and my veil was HEAVY 2-tiered with lace.  Everything stayed in perfectly! Oh!  And, yes, to the cris-crossed bobby pins on the edge of the comb!  Good luck!
