Hi bees, I do my engagment pictures today!!! I am beyond excited. But, just recently my skin broke out like a mother fucker. Please excuse my language.
I have been stressed out at work, and stopped taking birth control. My skin for the most part is usually pretty perfect, I will get a pimple here and there but nothing like what it has been doing this past month. I can count around 15 zits just on one cheek. I am not used to this.
My question is, will these zitters show up in my epics? How did you cover your acne for pics?

Find a good concealer and some light coverage powder so it’s not too cakey. I really like the Cover FX liquid concealer. Erase Paste is also good too, depending on the colour of your skin. It tends to have a bit of an orange tint, so I use the tiniest amount possible and apply with a concealer brush and blend well.
Plus I’m sure you’re photographer will edit the photos for you 🙂

@raisedonrobbery: Is your photographer re-touching your images? If so, he or she will most likely be an expert on photoshopping it out. If you do get them back and you have editing rights, it’s a pretty simple fix on photo editing programs to remove them.

A good photographer should be able to photoshop…the day of our e-pics it was over 100 degrees outside, and we were having them done outdoors! Darling Husband had a giant sweat stain on his shirt within like the first fifteen minutes, and you’d never know it from looking at the pictures.
But if you have time to stop and pickup some concealer, I highly recommend Makeup Forever HD Invisible Concealer. I get mine from Sephora – it is the only concealer that actually covers my zits, it seems like the drugstore concealer just calls more attention to mine.

My photographer was great about photoshop. I don’t really remember what my face booked like for e-pics and the wedding, but between professional makeup and editing the photos my face looks perfect. Maybe mention it to her to see if she’ll be doing editing?

You will probably be far enough away from the camera that they won’t show. Maybe just ask them to retouch really close up pictures.

They’ll probably show somewhat if they are bad; your photographer may charge more to photoshop out imperfections.
I like Mac foundation; I used it for both my wedding and e-pics and have acne on and off.
I would recommend going back on BC if you can for the wedding. It takes about 3 months for the hormones to really leave your system–the last time I dropped it, my skin broke out so, so badly about 4 months after going off of it.
