I like both dresses although I prefer the color of the first one slighly more.  However, like others have said, I don’t think it’s the best choice for busty bridesmaids.  I don’t think they would outshine your dress, but they definitely are similar.  If you are that concerned (and it sounds like you are), then go with the second dress.

leatherdinosaur:  Love both dresses and think both would work well.  Which one do your BMs feel most comfortable in?  What is the designer of both dresses?

I love the first look.  I do not think it is possible for BMs to outshine the bride.  It is your wedding and if your Bridesmaid or Best Man are happy and confident in their attire it will show in the pictures, and likewise if they are not happy and uncomfortable that will show too.

As a fellow bride that choose amazing not plain dresses for her BMs go for it!  My bridesmaids will literally outshine me because they are in sequins.  I am not worried, I am the only one in a bridal gown and that is what matters. Their fab gowns will make my day that much more amazing because they love the dress and feel like stars. I am even going to get the photographer to do a portrait of them that I will frame for them.  It is important for me that they will not look like “bridesmaids” but rather like they were going out to a fancy party.

I love both but the first ones do overshadow you a bit. And I love the colour, I think I’d like the first ones as a wedding dress too! 🙂

Other than that, it’s still sweet you ask your BM/MOH their ideas. Very sweet nonetheless!

leatherdinosaur:  I vote the second option because I’m not a fan of the visible zipper going down the top of the back on the first option.

I also don’t think it would look bad with one of each, letting each girl decide which she likes best. They’re different styles and colors but I’ve never been too picky on having perfectly matching everything lol.

leatherdinosaur:  I think they are very similar, but you’re the only one in white and you’re the centre of attention. So don’t down you’re bridesmaid dresses in fear they’ll outshine you. I think they complement each other well.

Boquet suggestion was me, and interestingly with those colours my eye is drawn to the second dresses now (I preferred the colour of the first before). I do think the dresses complement you now rather than standing out on their own.

But what do you think?

I agree- I like the first ones best at first, but now I completley  agree that the colour of the second one look so much more complementary.

I still like the style   of the first  ones s  best though
