I think if the purple were less sparkley or more pastel it could work. As is, it looks like a “going out to a bar” makeup job.

@crayfish: Agreed. It looks almost garish to me. When I think beach wedding, I think glowy skin, bronze-y colors, and nothing too harsh.

I agree with both the above – especially with a beach wedding, I think of more natural and sunny/bronzed.

Not a good luck for a beach wedding, it’s too overdone. Beach wedding make up should look more natural and glowy/bronzed. Good luck!

I agree it’s a bit much- tone down the eyeshadow (alot) & blush, add some bronzer & I think it could work.

It looks very harsh IMO. I think lighter, more natural tones when I think of beach wedding makeup.

I originally said yes, but i think that it needs to b toned down, i like the idea of purple just a much softer purple, i agree that you should use more of a bronzer than the pinky blush… i think by modifying that idea it could look really nice

It looks like too much…I agree with the others that a more natural look would be better.

I think you could stick with the purple color, and just slightly tone it down. This could still be an inspiration look, you just need to tailor it to the occasion. Do you have brown eyes like the girl in the picture?
