9mm=4cts right? For me that would be too big! The band is beautiful and I really like the coloring of the ring. I’ve tried on a 3ct before and thought.. That is huge. Not that I couldn’t rock a 3ct either but still. It’s totally a preference. My hands are swollen right now so they are a size 8. This center is 1.25cts and the band is either 2mm or 2.5mm I’d have to check. Maybe some bees with larger rings can be of more help? Sorry.

You really should just try on a ring that is similar. I think the size of the band will be fine but the center stone is very large.  My center is about 1.25 Cts and about 6.9mmx5.3mm (i cant remember) on a 2mm band.  It looks perfect on my long size 8 fingers but it often seems to get in the way. But everyone is different.  I am pretty active and that could be why.

What stone is it? I think a big rock on a big hand can look way too bulky, if anything smaller rings suit bigger sizes and create a much more dainty feminine look. I know it seems to make sense bigger finger bigger ring, but in person the opposite normally looks more attractive. If I was you I would try on some lots of different size rings see what you like the look of don’t be afraid of going under a carat you might be surprised.

Ha, I closed my account and literally opened a new one to answer this, because that size looks fine on a 9.5! I have a size 9.5. And daintier def does not look better on a larger finger, since I think it all comes down to taste??

Anyways – here’s my 10mm ring, which was the ring he proposed with. I loved it, and it was definitely comfortable to wear every day.

And here’s my current, it’s 3ct with a halo.

Gemvara (I can tell just by looking at it) lets you look at an image of the ring on a hand. Those fingers are proabably a size 4 or so, but it will give you a reference. I’ve bought several rings through them.

CookieLady:  oh, my bad. I was going by round cuts. I forget they’re not all the same.

amberbelle:  measure out 9mm square on paper, cut it out and put it on your finger. Not ideal but will at least give you an idea.

Np I had to double check myself because they are all different though I probably know that particular cut better than the others because it’s a favorite of mine. That’s why I popped a table in too. If someone had mentioned a round in mm I’d be clueless lol. Also good idea on the paper!!

He’s a 9mm costume ring on my size 10.5 middle finger. It’s not exactly your size, but close enough to get a decent idea I hope
