I personally like the look of the store cap sleeves.  I think the crystal details go really well with what is on your dress already.  I also really love that they are not just plain cap sleeves, they create a really nice key hole back.  If you decide to go with the lace neckline I don’t think it needs the straps across the top as that might look bulky and lace illusion pieces are meant to be soft and romantic.

I think the lace plus the bling of the dress plus the pleats in your dress will be a bit busy. Could you not add straps in the same material as the dress. I think they look like an afterthought and stand out too much from the dress.

I think the buildup would look fine as long as it is with a “simple” (probably non-beaded?) lace. The inspiration picture has both pleats and a little bling in the midsection like yours. As long as you kep the buildup simple, I think it will look gorgeous!

SellyJo:  Don’t like the spaghetti straps. I just think it makes it look more prom-ish. I do however love the cap sleeves from the bridal salon. They compliment the dress so well, gives more coverage and lifting ability and is very elegant. With not wearing a veil, the caps sleeves really add dimension and a sort of bling to the dress.
