I’m undecided. I want to wear my dress as long as possible because yah, I only get to wear it once. But when it arrives and I go through alterations, I’ll have to evaluate how comfortable it is and if I think I’ll be ok wearing it dancing etc. If I DID get a reception dress, I’d only wear it for like 2 hours max I think, I want my wedding dress on as long as humanly possible. Until I absolutely can’t take it anymore and want to relax and party! Hopefully I can do that in my wedding dress though, but I’ve accepted the possibility I might be uncomfortable.

My wedding is some time away, but I’ve already found THE dress. I figure, if closer to the wedding I can’t resist and just have to look at more dresses, I’ll look for something for the reception. I love to dance, so a shorter dress would be nice, but I love the one I’ve picked. We’ll see.

I’ve decided on a second dress because my ceremony dress is HUGE and that would be a job by itself.

im sticking with just my one dress. i can not wait to wear it again. im not paying that much for a dress to not even get an hour worth out of it. think about it ceremeonies are normally 30 mins tops. its crazy to me.

I’m sticking with one dress for the Ceremony and Reception but am considering a 2nd dress for the afterparty. Basically everyone’s heading to the bar near the hotel after the official party ends. I want to go too but probably not in my ball gown. The only thing that’s stopping me is figuring out where and when to change. I don’t want to leave the reception in the 2nd dress. But I also don’t really want to go to the hotel, change, and then go out again.
