I do not have a picture of mine but I used a gift box to ask my Maid/Matron of Honor. I included a picture frame with a picture of us in it, her favorite scented candle, a mini bottle of wine, a nail polish in one of my wedding colors, and some chocolates with a personalized card. She loved it. I tried to keep it as personal as possible by including some things that symbolize our friendship. Like our wine and dinner girls nights and our shared obsession of candles.

Ask your Fiance to help you think of some ideas. Maybe some mini bottles of their favorite alcohols, cigars, a flask, a personalized glass, their favorite snack foods. Just some ideas! Hope it helps a little.

My Fiance just casually asked his side since they are either family or his friends from the military. He wasn’t fancy about it lol.

I have done the bridesmaid boxes but I didn’t take a picture but I had things for each person that I knew they would love and use.

For my moh I had a mini bottle of vodka, a shot glass, a summer scarf, a glass with her name on it and maid of honour written on it, a makeup blender, 2 nail polish in her fav colours, a face mask, a yummy scented candle, box of chocolates and the invite to be my maid of honour.

My bridesmaids got a similar box but without nail polish (both nurses and can’t wear it), had wine (because they love wine lol), they got some hand creams and a lipstick each…I think that’s all that was different. I did make sure the candles were for each person’s smell and while my moh got a summer scarf , my bridesmaids got winter.

I also had a note in there with a cruise ticket that’s being paid off by me for all 4 of us for a personal bachelorette party. And also the dress colour and makeup and hair stylist for the girls.

They all loved it and said yes 🙂 and then I added them to a secret facebook group where they could get to know each other as they are from different states and I didn’t want it to be awkward for everyone.

Sorry for the wall of text haha.

I just made simple hand-decorated boxes with a few little things, I’ll post a picture below.  My husband  asked with Cigars attached to a card, I don’t have a picture of his but you can find similar ones on Pinterest.  One of our best friends recently asked my husband to be his best man with a cool old vintage toolbox and inside had things like a cigar, a small bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Coca-Cola. It was really unique!

Mine were wooden boxes (similar to the size of the ones above, with the same filling). They had mini frames that had a picture of me with each bridesmaid, a bottle of Essie nailpolish (each bridesmaid was given a different color, depending on her personality and what she likes), a tiny canister that had bath salt in it, and a small burlap and lace favor bag that had candy in it. I also printed out “will you be my bridesmaid” printables online on nice gold paper and put that on the top inner part of the box for when it was opened. Definitely check out Michael’s craft store if there is one near you – they have a ton of great small things to put in those boxes, espcially near the check-out line area and the wedding section! I got everything from there, except for the nailpolish.
