I’ve thought about something cute and fun to change into the last 30 minutes or so……I’m wavering between doing it or not.  I would love to see pics of what other girls plan to do.

I’ve also thought about it, but I am hoping I love my dress too much to change out of it!

I bought one just in case.  Our wedding and reception were outdoors so I thought I might get really hot in my wedding dress!  But I ended up wearing my Lia dress the whole night and I’m so glad I did!  I look like a "bride" in all my pictures!  But to each their own.  I can see how someone would want to change if their dress was very heavy or not very comfortable.

I’m considering it since we leave for our honeymoon the next morning, I have a feeling that it would be easier for me to change before we head to our hotel and leave the dress with my mom to run over to the cleaners on Monday. At the same time I don’t want to, because I love my dress!

I wish I could scan in the pics of my mom and dad after their wedding.  She had on a gorgeous navy blue velvet suit (very Jackie O) and some skinny heeled high pumps and pearls on.  That was her going away outfit with a cute little hat (pillbox).

She looked like a cross b/w Jackie O and Breakfast at Tiffany’s!

Now back in the day you left IMMEDIATELY after the wedding for the honeymoon.  They drove from Memphis to New Orleans.

I’m going to wear my wedding dress all night.  It is super comfy so I don’t need to worry about that.  Also we aren’t leaving the reception, really.  Our wedding is at a resort and we’ll just be moving the party to the hotel bar.  I might get some more comfy shoes though to wear later in the evening.
