I’m going to wear mine all day, it will be a little more difficult to dance probably but I want to get as much time in that dress as possible. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, right? I know a lot of brides do change and I always love those pictures so maybe try some dresses if you’re concerned your long dress will impede your fun! I think just make sure that whatever dress you change into still makes you feel as special as possible!

I’m going to wear mine all day. It’s my dream dress and don’t want to take it off.

I’m wearing my dress for the ceremony and reception, but I did get a short dress for the afterparty…

My reception is downtown, so I thought something shorter would be nice.

I had a short dress for the ceremony so it would be silly to change it. But I like the idea of wearing it all day. They’re so much money, and you put so much effort into finding the perfect one. You should show it off as long as possible!

I have two wedding dresses. One for the ceremony/ cocktail hour. And one for the reception. I think two dresses is awesome! It’s YOUR day!!

I’m thinking I’m going to just stay in my dress. If I find a super cute dress thats shorter and at the right price I might though.

I wore my wedding dress through toasts, lunch, greetings tables and cake cutting, but I changed into a short dress for dancing and the end of the reception (so the last 2 hours of my reception).  I loved my dress and it wasn’t really a heavy or bulky dress, but having a short dress made it SOOO much easier to mingle and have fun on the dance floor.  It also gave me a chance to get out of my heels and wear some flip flops.  I snagged my dress on Ideeli for $69 and also wore it for our engagement shoot!  (Sorry for the big pictures, I can’t get them to shrink!)

i’ll be wearing 2 dress for my big day. i’m getting married outside in yosemite national park and my dress is maggie sottero kendra (big, satin, heavy). since it’s a semi destination wedding we’re not having a formal reception but a dinner with family and close friends only (about 30 people). i dont want to wear my huge dress in the dining room of the hotel so i’ll be changing to something short 🙂
