It depends on our finances, which is another deciding factor in becoming parents!

Haven’t decided yet. Would love to work full-time but, seems like with the rising costs of day care, plus the logistics of getting everything together in the day like getting kids ready for school, cooking, cleaning, getting kids ready for bed, helping with their hw, managing repairs around the house, goin’ to work (I work FARRRRRRRRRRR and moving closer to work is not an option unfortunately) will take a toll on the family.

I’d love to go back to the work force once the kids are a reasonable age. I don’t want to be a Stay-At-Home Mom forever.

We’re both going to work full-time.

We would need to have at least 3 kids all in daycare at the same time for either of us to stay home. We both earn similar salaries. We have great insurance benefits, so we wouldn’t like to give that up.

I really wouldn’t like to stay home full-time. I truly admire all the SAHMs, I can’t see myself doing that full-time, I’d be exhausted. I think my 40 hours a week job is nothing compared to the job of taking care of a baby & a house full-time, so for me working is less demanding.

We currently outsource the heavy cleaning duties at our house. We both do light cleaning, but we pay for the house to be deep cleaned once a month. After we have a baby we may need to increase that to twice a month ….. We’ll see

Both of my parents had demanding careers and my mom only took 3 months of maternity leave with my 2 brothers and me. We all went to daycare and we came out great if I can say so myself 🙂
