BMs are going with Groomsmen – including Best Men/MOH.

I was just in a wedding, with 3 BMs and 3 GMs. The bride just had us all walk down the aisle with our significant others. They walked with us, then sat down. There was one single Groomsmen and Bridesmaid or Best Man and they walked together. It was kind of sweet, having couples walk down the aisle before the bride.

@vorpalette:  I’ve never seen this either!  Mine will be walking together, although I don’t really think of it as the BMs being escorted by the GMs….they’re just going down the aisle at the same time.

@vorpalette:  Same here until the last wedding I attended.

Going to that wedding assured me that I’m not creating any social stigma by having my girls walk up alone.

I have 3 girls and Fiance has 2 guys. He just refuses to bring in a third, so I have to deal with this.

i was planning on having mine esscorted but my Fiance is having problems finding guys he wants other them his best man so they might be going alone now and the best man will just go with either my Maid/Matron of Honor or may be my mom cause we still havent found someone to walk her.

This was a  debate for us…but since there’s no “side room” for the guys to come out of we’re having all of them matched up….

Fiance is being escorted by his nephews so he doesn’t need the best man with him…..

My mom’s been giving me a hard time about this! I’m using the poll as data to support my point lol.

I will have 6 BMs and he has 4 Groomsmen – so I want them to walk separately down the aisle – and maybe together after the ceremony (2 guys get 2 girls I guess)

I had each bridesmaid walk with a groomsmen up the aisle. I thin kthis looks nicer then just a bridesmaid walking up alone

my entire wedding party will walk down alone…im having a miss-matched wedding,Standing on my side will be- a Maid of Honor, then a Man of Honor, then two brides maids On Fiance side he will have a Best Man, two grooms men, and a grooms-women (his sister) Everyone will walk down individually, one on his side walk down, then one on mine, then one of his then another of mine, alternating going down the isle being its tight. Then my Fiance will walk, then i will walk down. Also i will be standing on the Right side, he will stand on the Left… were gonna mix it up a bit

It never crossed my mind to have them unescorted.

But yes, we are doing escorted. I have 2 maids of honor & he has 2 best men. We have no traditional bridesmaids & groomsmen.
