Fiance wants a ring. He doesn’t really want to wear one until we’re married but he keeps asking me to see his ring and he’ll wear it around the apartment. Once he wore it out because he forgot he had it on. Even this weekend while we were visiting some friends he commented how he was the only one in the group without a ring. It’s sweet. I think he’s more anxious to get married than I am right now. He just wants it to “be official” already. 🙂

He’s way excited to wear a ring and knows exactly what he wants.
I’m glad that he wants to wear it – I don’t think I’d be happy if he didn’t want to (because he gets upset if I take off my ering, it’s fair footing for him to wear a wedding band then)
Anyway, his excitement is very cute.

FH will. He has a ring that he wears daily on a different finger, so I definitely think he’ll actually wear it.

Yes he will. He doesn’t wear any jewelry at all but I think he would love to show that he’s married once he is. He is a very traditional 20 something

@Lizabean: At first Fiance did not want to wear a ring because it’s “not his style” in that he doesn’t wear any jewelry, ever. Also, he only wears black shirts, no color lol. After we found black tunsten carbide rings he’s totally down and said he would wear one of those. WIN!

He was married before but never wore it due to the job he had during that marriage, he seems very excited to wear his now and he doesn’t have any restrictions due to his job now. Yay! 🙂

My Fiance works in the financial industry so I expect he’ll wear it all the time. I imagine it will take him a few weeks to get used to it since he has never worn a ring, but I think he’s excited about it and will like it once he gets used to it.
Both of our fathers wear their wedding bands and never take them off- my dad was so upset when he had to remove his ring for surgery on his left arm and couldn’t wear it for a couple months due to swelling.

@Lizabean: My SO will wear a ring, he’s really excited to 🙂 I’m excited to see it on him! He was kind of surprised that a “mangagement ring” existed. Unfortunately he found that out from The League (tv show) and doesn’t want one! (The character who had the ring is just…strange? Horrible? Haha)
ETA: This is a clip from the show where the mangagement ring is introduced :p hilarious! http://splitsider.com/2013/08/watch-andre-and-trixies-wedding-invitation-from-the-league/

DH never even owned a ring, lol. I figured it’s his choice, just like changing my name or not is my choice–the man tells anyone who will listen that he’s married to me so it’s not like there’s some secretive aspect.

BF and I are about to be engaged, and we’ve talked about what kind of ring he would want. He works as a lab researcher, and really needs his hands free of almost anything when he works with certain machines. On top of that, constant hand-washing and/or glove-wearing, he likely won’t wear a ring. We’ll still have a ring at a ceremony, and he’ll have it on days he wants to wear it, but on an every day basis he likely won’t wear one

He sounds so cool!! Completely willing to do his own thing, and I love that he’s so proud of your relationship. My husband showed his off too, but by now literally EVERYONE we know has heard the story. Probably more than once. 🙂 So not as much anymore.
Are any of your guy friends asking for man-gagement rings now? Two of ours are.

My Fiance already wears his e-ring which will also serve as his wedding band. I’ll do the same with my e-ring.

Not yet, but one of our friends thought it was an excellent idea. We got the original idea from an acquaintance who wore one and another friend who exchanged claddagh rings as promise rings with his now wife.
