To give you an idea of the whole look. Should I pick a red bouquet with my lipstick? Should I pick a pink lipstick? I saw this and I think it looks stunning, however, brides don’t usually wear red lipstick.
The hair style will be a mixture like below with the chignon on the side and a plait on the other side.

I didn’t set out with the intention of my lips and my bouquet matching but looking back I guess they did! I wore red liquid lipstick and carried red roses!

I think you’re overthinking this one. Wear whatever you feel most stunning in. I’m thinking of doing a vampy lip, and I’m carrying white flowers.

Unintentional as well but yes, my lipstick did match some of the pinks in my bouquet.

I’m wrong red lipstick and caring white flowers!
Choose red white red flowers!!!! Looks beautiful

You’re going into bonkers bride territory a bit.
Youve clearly got good taste and everything you’ve picked out is lovely. Your face will look beautiful whatever lipsticks as will your bouquet so just pick what you like for each.
I’ve noticed all brides, myself included, go a bit loopy on detail and co-ordination and second guess everything.
Its all looking good. Just pick and trust.

Haha, when I first read the title I was like “girl, you are waaaaay overthinking this”, but then I thought about it and realized that I actually did match my lipstick to my bouquet- unintentionally. I see other bees did too- maybe its a subconcious thing?
Anyway, your inspiration pictures are lovely so if thats what you want to do, I say go for it!

I only recently started wearing red lipstick. Before that I wasn’t a fan of red. I don’t want to look back at the photos and think oh wow that red is overpowering. Red lipstick, red flowers.

I think there is a risk of having overpowering lips if you go with red. I don’t think lipstick has to match your bouquet but having said that it does look good in the picture you’ve posted.

I think you need to go with whats best for your face, not what matches your flowers!

I would go for a lip color that you love, and that will look great in pictures. Don’t worry about matching it to the flowers!

pick a lipstick you love and pick flowers you love and call it a day

I would give the lipstick a few practice runs around town to see if you really love the shade. I don’t think the bouquet color matters, but red would be striking, provided you feel really comfortable with your lipstick shade. As a guest, I don’t really pay attention to whether bouquets match or not, but it would probably stand out to me if a bride was wearing red lipstick, because it is a more unique and dramatic color. (I notice red lipstick at the mall and at concerts too, because I like to make a mental note of what women with my complexion do to pull it off, and also what doesn’t work. But maybe I’m weird?)

@Pearlrose I am like that too; checking other girls and what works with my complexion. I can pull off wearing the red lipstick. I think it was all about finding the right shade.
