He hasnt bought them for me by himself yet. But its more when i need one while im in the bathroom and theyre in my bedroom. I apologize profusely and thank him 100 times until he convinces me its not a big deal.

I’ve never asked him. I’m sure he would, but I probably don’t want him to since he wouldn’t have a clue what to get and I’d end up having to go back anyway.

This has never come up, either we go shopping together or I go by myself. Fiance cannot be trusted to go shopping alone, he would come home with chips, pop, candy, and icecream!

Anyway, I use a Diva Cup and only need liners, so I just get the double pack and only need to buy it twice a year or so.

My husband is a nurse. I once sent him into the store to buy me stool softeners while I waited in the car because I was too embarrassed to buy them myself. Bless his heart.

Yes, as long as I am SUPER specific on brand and size of tampons or he’d come home with super triple X pads or something that go from belly button to tail bone just to be funny. Which he’s not, unless you ask him.

@crayfish:  You saying something about holding your purse reminded me of a trip we took recently.. my purse was sooo heavy because of camera, water bottles ect.. and he took it and carried it while we were window shopping for like an hour for me. THAT time he was funny. But only that time (see above). He would ask other women what brand their purse was, and if they liked his.

Yep. He even will leave some in his truck for me For emergencies. He was weird about it when we were younger but after he and my dad had to help my sister who got her period for the first time when all us girls were gone, hes much more accepting of it And willing to buy tampons and midol

I think he would be totally lost, but would do it anyway as long as I describe him what I want (and hopefully, have the brand name too).

@iarebridezilla:  so laughing right now ! It happened to me with Preparation H. I never had hemorrhoids before and I was dying of shame, just imagining going to the drug store and buy that. My SO has Crohn’s disease since he’s a kid, so it didn’t bother him to go get it for me.

He doesn’t care, but he makes me send him a picture of the box I need so he knows exactly what to get lol. Then he double confirms by sending me a picture of what he got.

yes. any adult who is still squeamish about period stuff needs to grow up already. if you can’t get past high school w/o still being embarrassed about it, then that is just ridiculous.

He wouldn’t all on his own, but when asked he absolutely will.  I mean clearly they aren’t for him, so I would never understand guys not wanting to get them.

No issue at all, he gets them as long as I give him the exact instructions, it’s as detailed as a trip to the moon, but he does it without fussing. Tampons, pads, the pill, I even got him to go to MAC and ask for a shade of lipstick.. LOL!!

@Jellybones:  This. He doesn’t mind, he just wants to make sure that he gets the right kind.

He wouldn’t just pick them up because he noticed I was low or anything.. but when asked he has no issue (as long as he has a picture of the box).
