@allinoelle: He would do it but I would likely have to be on the phone with him the whole time directing him, or print him out a picture of exactly what he needs to buy. I can just picture him standing there in the tampon aisle totally confused haha 🙂

Mine was so cute the first time I asked him to buy me tampons – it was a texting convo that went something like this:
Him: I’m stopping by the store on the way home from work to pick up food for dinner.
Me: Would you hate me if I asked you to get tampons?
Him: I wouldn’t hate you
Him: But no one has ever asked me to do this before
Him: I’m gonna need a little help here…
Me: Either Kotex (small square black box, size regular) or Tampax (Rectangular Blue Box, size regular) – most essential things are that they are unscented and have an applicator.
Him: Seriously they have different sizes…and applicators?
Him: In these moment’s I’m so happy I’m not a girl…

Yes. This is totally Too Much Information but he even was willing to put a suppository up my butt to help with nausea after I had an ovarian cyst removed last summer. That was when I knew he truly loved me hahaha.

@allinoelle: I’m pretty sure I asked my man to pick up tampons within 3 months of us knowing each other. I’ve also had my gay best friend pick them up (although, with him I didn’t specify a type and he brought back cardboard applicators. For the rest of my stay at his house I reminded him periodically that my vagina hated him.).

He would do it, but I would never ask him to.

Just wanted to pipe in – i have worked at a pharmacy for 8 years and we honestly honestly do not judge when people are buying pads or tampons or condoms. Everyone does it. Its nothing to be embarrassed about yet so many people are.
