WOW thats ridiculous!

Our wedding started only 5 minutes late because of some late guests!

5 or 10 minutes is okay in my book . . . an hour and a half is crazy though!

I would be super annoyed if I was at a wedding that started hours late. 10-15 minutes is one thing but wasting everyones time for hours is just not cool. Our ceremony is set to start at 5:30 and I’m hoping it does but we do have some wiggle room incase we need to start a few minutes late. I wouldn’t push it back any more than 15 minutes though. As long as all key guests are there (i.e. wedding party and immediate families), we’ll be starting.

I would have been pissed if I was a guest.  Waiting an hour and a half for a wedding? Nope, I would have left.

Ours started on time, thankfully!

Our wedding HAS to start on time… We’re pushing the time up by an hour b/c Relay for Life is within earshot of our outdoor wedding. It starts at 7pm, so we’re starting our wedding at 5:30. No room for lateness unless we want unwanted noise during the ceremony.

It better start on time! I’m very hopeful it will start on time. I’m all about contingency plans and I’ll walk down in my underoos to get the show started. Slight exaggeration. Slight.

YES it will! I HATE being late and I hate people who are late. It drives me crazy that people write a time on their invitations and plant to start late!! Plan accordingly so you don’t upset your guests.

i can’t answer your question because i can’t predict the future.

i hope we start on time, but you never know what could happen. 1.5 hours late is unacceptable though.

Woah, what were they doing? It sounds like that episode of The Office when they decided to get married on their own and come back. OR it sounds like The Wedding Date movie where the couple gets mad and chases each other around…. then finally comes to the wedding. Anything crazy happen there?

I’m hoping it starts on time. I love being on time. But my fiance tends to be late for things… so I’ll give him a few minutes but I will PROMISE him if he’s not ready in 5 minutes I will walk down the aisle without him. 🙂 Ok, probably not.

I am irritatingly punctual, and so expect I’ll be starting on time.  I hate having to wait more than 5 mintues for anything.
