Sure did.  It’s my ring.  I’m entitled to be excited and share. 🙂 I gotta look at stupid drunk pictures all of the time.

I did when we first got engaged. I haven’t posted any since then.. I would feel like I was boasting or something.

I wasn’t going to, but I had multiple requests to see it so I did. I love seeing rings, so I guess it makes sense that others do too.

i did. it was captioned with an announcment that Fiance had proposed. i think it would be weird if it was your profile picture, but i don’t see any harm if it’s part of you telling people you’re engaged.

There was a thread about this awhile ago, it was pretty active in how people felt about ring posting on FB. But I think its harmless. Be proud, go for it!

I did not. I figured those close to me would see it in person, and I wasn’t really a fan of the idea of potentially opening it up to judgement on Facebook. Though, I don’t know how someone would judge it–it’s perfect to me! I guess I didn’t like the idea that someone somewhere that I’m not really friends with would see it and potentially say, oh it’s too small, too big, boring, flashy . . .

Like others, though, I love when others post their rings. It just wasn’t for me.

I haven’t posted mine, because its an upgrade. & I think people would be like, she has another ring? WHO CARES!!!!!! Or something along those lines. Hubby recently (last night) got me a new right hand ring, its a sapphire (which is my birthstone) & being on weddingbee really made me want one, but again I havn’t posted it on here either for the same reason. Since I just got my upgraded e-ring & wedding band last month I was afraid bee’s would think the same thing (WHO CARES!!?!?!?!?) but its on a two tone 10k yellow gold & STERLING SILVER band so we could get it at a much cheaper price. It wouldn’t be like I was saying ha look at my big nice expensive ring, which is exactly what its not! But I thought other bee’s would think that is what I was doing, so thus I haven’t posted it & don’t know if I will.

I didn’t, but my mother did, haha.  She seemed more excited about everything than I did.

I posted one the day we got engaged. Then a bunch from engagement pics and even more from wedding photos. I think the professional one’s are more acceptable then the cell phone “hey look at my big sparkly thing” pics

I posted mine! I love when my friends post their rings! Some of them I can see in person, but most of my friends are out of town. Plus, it just seems like a natural thing to do once you get engaged… everyone wants to see the ring. Even now, random people are asking me to show them. 🙂

If you’re conflicted… maybe post one photo, and don’t give it it’s own album. Or maybe the picture can be from semi-far away. I hate that, but at least it’s not focused on your ring completely.
