So I absolutely fell in love with the branch centerpieces so I attempted one on my own and this is what I’ve come up with….
The little pictures frames will be black.
What do you think? Do they need more flowers, pearls? Anything?

Maybe more branches so the top looks fuller?

So far so good, but I might make a few changes…
-I can’t really tell what is going on at the top of the vase but it doesn’t look right. It might just need some adjustment to tidy it up.
-try spreading the branches out just a bit so they are in a slight V shape
-definately add flowers!!! Maybe white flowers to contrast the black?
-What about tea lights around the bottom? or petals even?
I love tall centrepieces so I like that thats where you’re going!

I don’t like what’s at the top of the vase either. I think it’s black tulle? I would add something with a little more weight there, maybe a flower grouping. That’s how mine was.

If you want to go for a really tall arrangement with the branches vertical like that, you might want to consider flowers arching out at the bottom so it’s not too straight:

Do you have an inspiration picture that you’re working off of?
I would nix the lights in the vase, as they make it look really messy. As kermie said, can you add candles on the table instead?

Thank you for the suggestions! I just re-did one of them and I think I like it a lot better, I put white sand in it and put a few of the flowers sitting on top of the sand. This isn’t the best looking centerpiece either the others are taller and straighter.
Better? Suggestion? ( i know the quality isn’t great 🙁 )

@shelbyejkrug: hmmm unfortunatley the picture is so dark i cant tell what you have done
As other brides have suggested though i would fan it out at the top more maybe? You could probably do this better by getting a vase that has a bigger opening at the top. Or if you want to keep it tall and straight like that, maybe putting some at the “base” between the sticks and where the vase meets?

@shelbyejkrug: what? you cant see that one silly

Ugh! The other picture didn’t upload! And the pic is very dark, unfortunately I have no idea where my real camera is lol. I guess I will have to wait till tomorrow to take a better picture.
I do like it straight up and I think I’m just going to have to start over with this one because it is toospread apart…right? Ugh my wedding is in like 23 days. And I don’t even have my bouquet done!

The only thing I can make out from the picture is the sand, and I think there is too much.
