I saw something in Pinterest where a bride sewed tiny weights into the end of her veil. I thought that was pretty smart.

@TwoStatesBride:  +1

OP, they make weights specifically for veils that help hold them down in the wind.

I’m in a similar situation (putdoor wedding, chapel veil). I have been looking to purchase veil weights so my veil won’t blow away. However, I have ran into some very expensive veil weights. Anyone ran into anything cheaper than $60 for 6 veil weights?

@mspanda13:  you can probably find something at your local arts and craft store!

If you can’t get legit veil weights, why don’t you just get fishing weights (they have a name, can’t remember what it is) and paint them to match your train? You can attach them with thread or fishing line.

@EffieTrinket:  I was thinking the same thing, and even did a google search for clear fishing weights.

OP – what about little clear glass beads sewn onto the inside of your veil? You should be able to attach them easily, and space them out so they hold your veil down.
