Just wanted to show a few pictures from our wedding…as you can see, it was an extremely windy day!! Here’s a few tips that I learned that day, if the same should happen to you.
1) pack a brush along with your makeup….or just go for a WHOLE lot of hairspray. By the end of the shoot, my hair was shot.
2) no matter how pretty the background is, the wind will decide which way you stand in the photos.
3) Take PLENTY of pictures. The wind does make for a gorgeous veil shot.
Here’s some examples of the good…and the bad:

Pretty!! I love how it can look, but I decided to forgo the veil so I don’t have to fight with it. I hear where I’m getting married is VERY windy.

While a couple of neat shots did come out of it, I have to admit I was getting kind of angry with the wind and my veil. I kept getting pulled in a different direction, and at one time almost went into the water!

I’m wearing a cathedral length veil… I hope we have a little breeze so we can get some amazing photos too! I LOVE your pictures!

I hope you don’t mind if I share my windy veil photo! I think one looks windier than the other but I tried to avoid getting tangled up in it since I had a wedding to get to!
