@eakhmet:  Save the hassle and rent them, you’d have to recover more than that per glass resale to make it worth it and that doesn’t count your time and effort trying to resell…

@eakhmet:  And the rented ones probably look a little nicer than dollar tree too 😉 For Weddings a lot of renting is actually worth it, think of linens, would you really want to buy table cloths in your colour? or chairs or anything else that may potentially take up a lot of space or cost a lot up front.

Rent them. I don’t know how many guest you’re expecting, but you’ll need to wash them and store them, then sell them and ship them. I considered buying but decided to rent and I never gave it a second thought. The less you have to do the better

@eakhmet:  I guess that works. When I looked into it, renting was about $5 a cloth or buying was about $20 but maybe its a regional thing? I didn’t think I”d get back $15 per table cloth and have to wash them all myself.

I think that for those prices you should rent them. I bought my wine and champagne glasses from ikea because it costs almost the same to rent them from the place I’m renting chairs from, compared to buying them and I don’t have to worry about paying extra if any of them break that day. Also my sister is getting married next year so the plan is that she’ll reuse them For her wedding. But renting is easier and in your case I say definitely rent. If you are dead set on buying new, check out ikea. They have 6 packs of wine glasses or champagne flutes for $4.99

Rent them. It is so much less hassle.
