Fiance and I love a good bottle of wine, so we wanted to give wine as a favor because let’s face it, favors are usually not the highlight of the wedding. When we went to our fav winery, we found that they really mark-up the small, favor sized botles and that we could get a full size bottle for just a few dollars more, with custom labels.
It’s going to be expensive either way, but we decided to go with the full size 750 ml bottle, but just give one per couple. We are having long tables, so the favors will be in the venue entry way by the card box. Any ideas how we can ensure that each couple only takes one bottle and how we can communicate that politely?
Thanks! = )

@missmovies: will the couples not sit next to each other at the tables. I would put the bottle, with mr and mrs gift tags, between each couple.

@missmovies: I would do what the PPs have said or… I went to a wedding where as you went through the recieving line you were given your favor because it was 1 per couple/family and that was how it was done…. Typically people would go through the line together.

Thanks ladies!! I’m not sure we’ll have room at the tables since we’re doing long rectangular tables and between the flowers and the place settings, it might be cramped. The tags are a great idea! Love the hive! =c )
