- Wedding: April 2016
While I was on Pintrest today, my Fiance was looking over my shoulder, and a wine box ceremony caught his eye. The one he specifically liked was this one.
He asked about it, and when I explained that it’s part of the ceremony, you write a love letter for each anniversary, and then open them and drink the wine in it, he loved it. He wants to include it in our ceremony. I love that he’s finally found something that he’s like “Yes I want that in our wedding” since he’s mostly been only strong about things he doesn’t want in it.
We’re not wine drinkers at all. Neither of us like it, and it would be silly for us to include the wine in the box. I think we’re gonna go on a ‘booze test’ and figure out something we would be ok with leaving in there, but I don’t know if it would be ok to put a bottle of champagne or whatever we like in a box for ten years. I don’t know how/if alcohol can age, or if we should think of something else to put in there other then alcohol. Anyone know anything more about this?
