    Pinot Grigio. Riesling is generally quite sweet and a dry white wine would be better with your dish.

    Definitely the pinot.  Riesling is on the VERY sweet side and a lot of people are not a fan.   If you want to have a greater chance of making the masses happy, go with the pinot, aside from the fact that it is the perfect complement to a sesame crusted chicken dish.  Yum!

    is it dry or sweet riesling? while i love it, sweet rieslinig is really more like a dessert wine…

    I actually think this depends a lot on the type of seasame chicken and the sweetness of the riesling.  If the chicken has any heaviness/richness to it, I would go for dry riesling.  People get scared away from rieslings because they think they are all really sweet but a dry riesling might be more interesting/appealing with this dish than the standard pinot grigo.  I recently went to a wedding where a riesling was offered and I think a lot of people really appreciated something a little bit different.
