Could we have a price range that you’re looking for? I don’t think this is exactly the love name you were quite going for however, it’s an inexpensive bottle of wine that’s great tasting. It’s called Menage A Trois. Get the red zin especially if you find the old vine. This might be kind of hard with the name considered.

do you know if there are any wines that are special to them?  for example, i gave my bridesmaids each a bottle of the wine that my husband and i shared on our first date as part of their bridesmaids gifts.  maybe wine they shared on a special date or on valentines day would be another way to fill the box with great wines that are meaningful to them?

btw, i love this idea — so thoughtful!

@bluestar:I would go to a local wine shoppe and have the owner show you wines which will be good in those timeframes, meaning 1 year down the road, 3 years down and 5 years down.  Wines age differently and you’d hate to get them a white which for example should be drank within a year and put it in the 5 year slot!

I really agree with @jboltz19:!  Considering the aging is so important.

Also, I would LOVE this gift, but I’d be a teeny bit sad that we couldn’t drink any now!  Maybe consider getting a just married bottle in a simple, pretty wine bag, and then explain the delayed gratification of the other bottles?  Just a thought 🙂

Vine Street Imports used to bring in a product called First Love.  There was  First Love Red and a First love White.  I work for an importer and we used to distribute this for them, but they have sinces moved on to a new distributor.

you could also focus on places they have been and get wines produced in those states or countries…
