So I am planning on using wine glasses as part of my centerpieces. I will be turning them upside down, placing a flower under them, and a candle on top. I will be using 3 wine glasses on each table.
So because I will be having 25 tables I will need 75 wine glasses. I am trying to decide if I should:
1) buy all different styles, shapes, etc and have an eclectic array of wine glasses
OR
2) buy 25 of each of the same type of wine glasses
I was also wondering if I do go mismatched should I stay with all clear, or also go mismatched in colors as well?
Let me know what ya’ll think! Thanks for the input 😉

I think they should be all the same style to make it look elegant. I think if you were to have different kinds it would look like you didnt have enough. They should all be the same color so it is not distracting.
I HOPE THIS HELPS

I’d take into consideration the rest of the decor. If you’re doing shabby chic – then the mixed eclectic thing works well. If everything is more formal then maybe go with the matching.

I agree with facinated, that it depends on what the rest of the decor is like. I personally really like the mismatched idea, but with something that ties it all together. Like stay with all clear glasses but have them vary in other ways (wine glasses are pretty standard, so there will only be small differences in shape and height, but I think that will look cool!). If you do them all the same, I would find the same or similar glasses but in three different heights so that you would have one of each height at each table to give it some dimension. I’m sure it will turn out cool no matter what you decide!

@mm13: I think similar ones that can carry the same ounce, but 3 different lengths
I realize these are differnt glasses, but you get the point 🙂

@avonleaR: I really love that idea! I think I will look into the different heights!
And thanks everyone for your input and your opinions.
Do you know where I would be able to find similar wine glasses with different heights that is not too expensive? Thanks

@mm13: look at your local restaurant supplies, or go to somethere like costco or walmart that sells them cheap. I would also check out ikea online (the have all the specs on their items)

Ooh I remember seeing this on pinterest and going gaga for it – all the same length, and they still look quite pretty to me.
