@Ginger87 – I’m a winter-Minnesota bride, too AND we’re date twins!!!

I’m using pewter silver, eggplant purple, sapphire blue & white as our colors. Heavy on the silver/pewter with the gemtones as more of an accent.

Where’s your wedding going to be?

Not a winder bride but went to winter wedding that had eggplant purple and evergreen as the colors and they used pine cones in the centerpieces. It was really pretty together!

@Ginger87 – we’re getting married in St. Paul! My fiance’s family are from out North Carolina & Texas, and needless to say, they needed a little convincing about a January wedding in Minnesota! But, I think it will be beautiful. Can’t wait!

In regards to your name, Ginger, are you also a redhead? πŸ™‚

We’re doing February in Ohio (although late february so it could be -20 or 60 degrees… no way to tell!!). I’m going for mostly champagne/light gold with sapphire blue, a little emerald green, and peacock accents. πŸ™‚

Our colors are evergreen and cream. We want an atmosphere that’s romantic, intimate, very warm ‘n cozy, and elegant. Our centerpieces wil rely heavily on candlelight and evergreen boughs, possible with a few pinecones.

Ok, so it’s not my wedding, but one of my bridesmaid is having her wedding in December and her colors are peach, shrimp, ivory and she might throw some champagne in there.

Her colors were originally peach and green when she was going to do a Hawaii beach wedding, but circumstances require her to have the ceremony and reception on the mainland, so she’s since changed her colors.
